Actually there is equal chance for everything...
Sorry guy, that statement is inconsistent with reality. Let's take your statement to the absurd for happy-fun-time!
Is it just as likely that you have a winged polar bear who floats behind you, and can't be reflected in a mirror or captured on tape, and further that every human being on the planet is in a conspiracy to not tell you about the polar bear, as not? No, that scenario is neither provable nor unprovable. However, when you start adding bits and pieces of realistic thoughts, you might say to yourself, "Well, a polar bear would be too heavy to fly, unless it's wings were enormous, and in that case I'd PROBABLY catch a glimpse of them on occasion. And, I guess no one would really have anything to gain by keeping this flying polar bear secret from me, so there PROBABLY is not a conspiracy of the sort. Also, I can put my back to a wall to eliminate any flying polar bears who CAN'T pass through walls.
These logical kind of arguments are what makes it much more PROBABLE that there is not a god in existence. For example:
"If god truly loved me, he would give me sufficient reason to believe in him so that I could know him, and love him, and give him glory, since all he seems to want is our love and praise. But, since I haven't the sufficient reason, I've found no such evidence, prayers are scientifically shown not to be answered or fulfilled, a perfect book would not have inconsistencies, and on and on.
Like I alluded to in my first post, the only reason to think the chances are even is personal fear of accepting a single life with no afterlife and no giant ghost looking after it.
