Well, I am not an Athiest, but am not religious either. I simply want to comment on this video and how utterly disgusting it is. These people are extremists and are very egotistical in thinking that only their way is right. They are apparently not interested in the sciences or anything other than JESUS. I don't think that was the message in the bible...to only think about God. I also don't think that children should be USED in this manner. It is child abuse and I see many "brainwashing" tactics here not "learning" as Becky put it. These children are not learning about respect or goodness, they are learning fear. They have no respect for people other than their own culture as seen in the way the little girl had such contempt in her voice towards the "dead churches", and people that didn't want to talk to her about God. My wife grew up attending a church that practiced many of these same things. She had to fake speaking in tounges to avoid being ostracized. She found out much later that her "friends" all did the same thing. They all grew up with such pressure that many of them don't even talk to their families anymore. It's really quite sad. For one of my political science classes we sat down and watched "Triumph of the Will" to learn about Nazi state-sponsered propaganda techniques. I realize the Nazi video was about the return of the German state as a great power with Hitler as the True German Leader, but my goodness. Swap a few names, put the thing in English, and it's the same thing. Goebbels would be extremely proud of how this woman is conducting her business.

I've been there. I've been those kids. I've wept those clueless tears, forced out of my by strangers preying on my childish fears of abandonment, telling me I was separated by Christ and I'll have to fight like hell to get him to like me again so I can avoid a horrible life and a miserable eternity after that.

I was deceived by charlatans. The church, a very powerful and successful business where people are paid to shift around ideas that could never be reviewed or checked for effectiveness, is a cruel tool of manipulation, psychological programming and false confidence.

This world is treated as a battleground or a joke by people who have been told so many times that it must be true, "be in this world, not of it." "Live for God, lay up your treasures in heaven." The subtext there is that this world and its contents are irrelevant, disposable and to be despised.

They have a clever angle in that they can dumb down this indoctrination to the child's level, where most concepts needed to undo that malevolent brainwashing take years of adult level investigation and recovery. And by that time the victim is a spent, emotionally exhausted middle-ager stuck with a child, crushing debt and a spouse they don't love.

So the engine is fueled.

I actually agree with all this, Imagine how great our degenerate country would be if we all had such strong beliefs in something so divinely good, This movie is inspirational in my opinion, I mean, I'm an Atheist, but this video just kinda makes me understand that there really is only one way to believe.

I have obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), listen to that little girl tory when shes in the rain, the part when she says she need 10 raindrops to hit her, it reminds me so much of me when i was that young and had to deal with my ocd, its eerily similar infact. The part that saddens me is that after she makes that comment her mother shrugs it off by saying shes silly. This movie takes me back to when I was a kid. I grew up in a fundamentalist church, and what really took me back was when that Fat lady said, "Boys and Girls sit up straight and all eyes on me!"
